Amber with pepper
Dried northern blue whiting fillet with pepper.
The amber fish has been the most common commercial fish for over 1000 years! Felted and dried amber fish was an indispensable product during long sea and land expeditions. Vikings and legionnaires of Ancient Rome ate on campaigns. The meat of amber fish is light and nutritious, and most importantly, it does not contain bones. And in combination with hot pepper, amber fish is a unique snack.
